The hotel is extremly in need of major renovation. The beddings are awfully old and look unclean. The furnitures and room decorations are 1970's (not in a good way).

If booking through Hotwire, you are doomed. They would qualigy this hotel as 3- STAR but truest me this is a 1 or 2 at best.

Pros: Great location, easy walk to everything. Monorail to downtown right here. Recommend "Ride the Duck" for excellent tour of the City. Fairly big room for price. Rooms without the space needle view might be a better deal.
Cons: This place must be close to a fire station, seemed to be heard all hours of the day. Recomend getting a room ...

We stayed in Seattle for 3 nights at the beginning of October and this hotel was a great base, everywhere was within walking distance. The only niggle was that it was a little bit noisy at times, but for a city hotel this is probably expected.

We were not familiar with the area, so relied on other reviews to make our reservation.
