I have stayed at this hotel at least 6 times in the past 8 years. I come here for a large conference and usually have my husband and son come up and meet me, and we make a weekend of it. I am planning to go back for a girls' weekend in a couple of weeks, so I was checking out the reviews. I have to say that people who complain about the ...

Holiday Inn with Four Season Label
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/23/07
As a regular at Four Seasons around the world, I usually find Four Seasons Hotels among the best. But the one in Austin, Texas doesn't belong in the chain. It might even have a hard time holding a Holiday Inn affiliation -- it's truly that bad! The HVAC systems don't seem able to keep up with the humidity and on some floors, the ...
This is THE best hotel in Austin. Wonderful service, friendly staff and the rooms are immaculate. My wife and I stayed here on our wedding night and we've come back on our anniversary every year! Whatever you need, the staff responds... be sure to tap into the concierge, Tommy Dean. He's the man who can get anything done in Austin! I ...

The Best Ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/02/07
I've stayed at many hotels and the Four Seasons right here in Austin is fairly wonderful... why? They spoil you with VIP treatment...no detail is unimportant to them. THe food in the Cafe is over the top...the best lobster I have ever put in my mouth. The gorgeous lawn out back leads down to Town Lake and there is quick access to biking and walking trails! Makes me want to stay in town for my vacations ;-)

Check out the "Bat Package"!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/10/06
Always a great place to stay, but this summer, we tried the "Go Batty" package, which was named in honor of the bat colony at a nearby bridge. You can see the bats come out from the hotel grounds facing town lake, and it's amazing! The package includes cocktails and a picnic dinner on the lawn. You even get binoculars to see the creatures "up close"!
This is the third time I have stayed at a Four Seasons and I found the Austin location to be the best, by far. The staff was so helpful and friendly, the location ideal and the view was amazing. I can't wait to go back.
I've stayed at this hotel three times. It is my favorite hotel in Austin. The rooms are well done and clean. The reataurant is very good. There is a nice fitness facility (a bit smaller than some other 4 Seasons, but quite servicable). They have bikes that you can take out and ride around town. Be sure to rise along the river. There is a ...
