This was about the biggest room I have ever stayed in. We were in building #6, and it was very nice. The room was not in need of repair. We had a king room, which was more than big enough for 2 adults and 1 child. There was a sofa and table, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker.

My whole family stayed at the River Terrace in June 2005, had 3 room, and have made reservations for the Thanksgiving holidays. These are the largest rooms I've ever stayed in.

River Terrace is in an excellent location, very quite, clean and staff very accomodating and courteous.

It's nice to find a hotel that will let you include your pet in your vacation.

I liked the location because it was in the heart of Gatlinburg. Shops were only a minute away. The room I had was clean. The whirlpool I had in my room was bigger than most in other hotels. The people that worked there were friendly. The price was decent. I can't think of anything I didn't like.

The location was great and the beds were comfortable.
The room smelled bad. The service was horrible. When our room was cleaned on Tuesday, the garbage was left outside our door until we left on Thursday.The convienent parking garage just outside our door was leaking from the rain. This hotel needs updating desperatly. Definitely will not go back again.

This place is the best place in Gatlinburg that you could stay! Me and my wife stay here every year. The people there are the nicest and most helpful. The rooms are clean the food in the resturant is great. Shopping is just across the street. Resturants are all in walking distance.

We usually stay in Pigeon Forge and drive to Gatlinburg, we decided this year to try something new. We were all very glad we did, it was a great location, very clean, loved the pool areas (great for kids). My husband, 2 children and I stayed at the River Terrace Resort a couple of weeks ago. We stayed in the tower.

The view, location, and price was excellent and the staff were so nice and helpful. I'm sure this use to be a fabulous place.

Motel has an excellent location right in the middle of Gatlinburg and very nice landscaping. That is where the good points end.

Bad stuff:

My husband and I stayed here when he returned from Iraq in 2004 and had a blast. We have been back three times since.Its location is great just yards away from the Aquarium. We stayed in a room next to the pool with a jacuzzi and fireplace and had a blast!!! The staff is very friendly and it defintely was a great value.
