This was our first and last visit. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the shower/bath water pressure and temperature would fluctuate extremely, the restaurant service was very slow, there was very poor lighting in the room, never found a luggage rack/carrier, the elevators were slow and jerky, and there were locked doors in the stairwells designated as exits (definately against the law).

It had a musty smell and needed a good cleaning. The carpets were filthy and a centipede crawled across the bathroom vanity. The bedding sheets did not fit the bed. I had to remake the bed myself. Will never stay there again.

Only plus is the location. Room was dirty,drab,wet carpet from refrig. being defrosted the day before we arrived and stayed wet for 3 days afterwards,water damage around entire room along baseboard, bathroom floor looked awful,ceiling tiles had dust hanging from them, and the furniture was less than desirable. We stay here every time we come! The rooms are clean, the sevice is great and friendly. There are nice rooms with fridge and appliances.

The room was excellent. Clean linens, great shower with plenty of hot water, very friendly staff as well. The room wasn't exactly "river view" but was still nice enough. I would rate this hotel as a 4 star hotel.
