Was there for a leadership conference - rooms were at no charge; thank goodness. Probably a nice property in the 1950's, however, never renovated since that time. The rooms were dirty, paper coming off walls, chips in furniture, smelled of mold and musk. Had to ask for soap as they never put any in the room. Tub and shower were not clean ...

Don't ever stay at this hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/07
I will never suggest anyone stay at this hotel. The carpets are stained and dirty and smell moldy. I don't think the hotel owns vaccuum cleaners. There was very little light in the rooms, the "private balcony" was an outside walkway with plastic chairs, and our "scenic view" was of the front office. The beds did not smell ...

Horrible Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/30/07
Requested a room with two double beds, got 1 King. Was told there was none. No ice machines in the whole complex worked. Bathroom door wouldn't shut. Paint peeling off of the door. Room smelled. One chair on the balcony that looked into the back wall of another building. Could not walk to pool as we were in the "Upper" level. NO VIEW! ...
Place was really nasty. You don't want to stay here. A real dump. Stains on carpets. Bed linen was nasty. Room needed a paint job. Me and my wife were very disappointed.

GROSS, GROSS & MORE GROSS!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/07
The staff was very friendly when they checked us in and that was the only thing nice about this place. We checked in & immediately checked out. I have never seen such a filthy, moldy, disgusting hotel room in my life. I was afraid to touch anything in the room. The carpet was one big giant stain, the walls were moldy, the refrigerator was ...

Why Pay More For Less?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/15/07
We visited in the off season, booked our reservations 3 months in advance through a 3rd party. Prices were great for the location and size of the room. We checked in at 4 PM, the 3rd party had not informed them that we requested a ground level room. They quickly changed our room and were friendly and helpful. The hotel is old and there were some ...

Best place on the Parkway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/26/06
We have no complaints. We enjoyed everything from the Inn owners to the Rooms. I wish that every place would take the same pride in their place when in a tourist area other than just out for the buck. We were very inpressed. I also have traveled all around the world. Thanks Guys for a lovely time.
