Room was very dated, toilet quit working twice, and the bathroom was very small. For the price there are plenty of better offers out there.

The location was the best thing, you could walk to wherever you wanted to go. The staff was pretty friendly. Overall you just left with kind of a sleazy feeling and wish you had stayed somewhere else.

we liked all acspects of our stay. Our kids enjoyed the spacious room, and the fire place also the location is very convieant to the main strip

my husband and i went in Nov and our room was great. it was cabin like without the price. we watched the leaves change and fall. it was beautiful. walking distance or trolley ride to everything. the only bad thing was the directions on the brochure. it was upside down from driving through pigeon forge. if you use their map turn it upside down. WE LOVED IT!! after katrina its just what we needed. and we are going back in jan.

COMFORTABLE, CLEAN, WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERYTHING, OR HOP AND SKIP TO TROLLY STOP. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, AND VERY EFFICIENT. GO EVERY YEAR, AND CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK.

Overall, it was a pleasent stay. We went for the Christmas parade. The fireplace was a great touch especially since the front door had a see through crack that let cold air in and the back door let cold air in as well because it is old and worn. The only real comment is that the place is very dated. It is like a throw back to the 1960's. But ...

This place was fantastic! Everyone was very polite and helpful! The poolside area was gorgeous! And the brook was beautiful! The rooms were great a perfect size for a large family to hang out!!

We usually stay in Cabins when visiting Gatlinburg, but this time wanted to stay in town. Brookside was priced well, and had many features.

We went during the weekend of July 4th 2005. The location was good b/c it was right in front of the 4th of July parade. However, the front desk did not inform me that my room was a smoking room on the first floor even though the sign in the room said non-smoking. I can say that the cleaning people did a descent job.
