Front desk and restaurant staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are big and comfortable. A nice place to stay with downtown Newport just a few short miles away. Remember to visit the beautiful mansions, meander along the gorgeous cliff walk and take in the breathtaking views of Ocean Drive.

Visit date: September 2006...Well, let me just say that they will never get my money again...the room I had was a basement room with a broken window...the security door leading to that floor did not close...the faucets in the shower were mismarked so if you set it to in the 70's F for temp, you got scalded ...the hallways were quite dirty and ...

Room was clean and neat...a particular female staff member at front desk...was totally unprofessional...rude and just plain..nasty...will not be going back and neither will my group of friends who booked a room in the coming weeks...because of the incident with this person at the front desk...find another hotel in Newport...plenty of nice ones..with friendly and helpful staff...

Nice clean rooms, good price, and good parking (free). Walls are VERY thin however, and I could hear the person in the next room snoring. Nice to have a pool and restaurant on site, although the pool doesn't open until the summer time. Not walking distance from downtown Newport, but there is usually plenty of parking once you get there.
