Loved everything .Right across from the Balle Field But it is quite.Rooms are very clean and large.Pool wa great and well maintained very clean and never really crowded at any one time.Kids really loved it after being out all day.Staff was great.Breakfast was more then you ask for,something for everyone.Museum free when you stay there very informative,

We had 2 rooms with 3 people in each room. The rooms were clean and large enough so that people were not bumping into each other. My daughter (11) and my nephew (13) enjoyed the roominess. They also loved the pool after being out in the hot sun all day. The swimming area was clean and well maintained.

This hotel is reasonably priced and conveniently located. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff who checked us in/out were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Free admission to Gen. Lee's Headquarters Museum is an added bonus, and the attached gift shop has a good selection of reasonably priced merchandise. You can't go wrong with this place!

I liked where it was situated so close to the battlefield and yet not to far from town,
where your able to see nice sunsets. Your also walking distance to Seminary Ridge.

The Suites are clean,comfortable and large
if you have kids you have a fridge, microwave and sinks.

The employees we very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable, better than expected. The location was excellent, on the battlefields but close to town as well.

The First Day battlefield, where this hotel is located, is my favorite because of its location far from the madding crowd (about a mile from downtown). Also, because of its historical significance; right across the street (US 30)from the historic Lutheran Theological Seminary. You can't walk anywhere that is NOT on the battlefield.
