I read a review from someone that wrote it a few years back, and it was all negative about this place. Please do not take that review into consideration because it just isnt true. The people here are very nice, the location is amazing, and the suites are not too expensive and well worth it. There is a great brewery RIGHT next to this place, with ...
Loved everything .Right across from the Balle Field But it is quite.Rooms are very clean and large.Pool wa great and well maintained very clean and never really crowded at any one time.Kids really loved it after being out all day.Staff was great.Breakfast was more then you ask for, something for everyone.Museum free when you stay there very informative,
We had 2 rooms with 3 people in each room. The rooms were clean and large enough so that people were not bumping into each other. My daughter (11) and my nephew (13) enjoyed the roominess. They also loved the pool after being out in the hot sun all day. The swimming area was clean and well maintained. The breakfast dining area was a ...

This hotel is reasonably priced and conveniently located. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff who checked us in/out were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
Free admission to Gen. Lee's Headquarters Museum is an added bonus, and the attached gift shop has a good selection of reasonably priced merchandise. You can't go wrong with this place!

Good place to stay if you like history and hauntings. They have musem and a book store so that you can purchase when you go exploring the battlefields. The pool is great for kids both large and small. Great time to go is during the reenactment or the fall when colors are changing.,

I liked where it was situated so close to the battlefield and yet not to far from town, where your able to see nice sunsets. Your also walking distance to Seminary Ridge.
The Suites are clean, comfortable and large if you have kids you have a fridge, microwave and sinks.

Always my 1st choice when in Gettysburg
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/05/07
The First Day battlefield, where this hotel is located, is my favorite because of its location far from the madding crowd (about a mile from downtown). Also, because of its historical significance; right across the street (US 30)from the historic Lutheran Theological Seminary. You can't walk anywhere that is NOT on the battlefield.

We reserved a Cottage Suite and we were given the lower level of the building instead of the top. The carpet was dirty in the corners of the room. The food services clerk was rude to us in front of other guests in the lobby. Two of the other guests got up and left the breakfast area immediately when this happened. The continental breakfast was not ...

My family stayed there several times. The rooms are clean and very adequate, the complimentary breakfast was excellent and the location couldn't be better. We also really enjoyed the hot tub!
