I travel 100 % of the time so I stay in many hotels all over the world. The Quality Inn-York is the worst I've seen in many years. Room was clean but bathtub area was disgusting -- needs to be redone. Pool appeared clean but surrounding area (cement area around pool) needs major repairs. Lounge chairs around pool are damaged -- someone could get hurt.

Terrible Experience

Desk clerk was not present for a minimum of 2 hours in the early morning for check-in so we chose to go to another hotel and cancel our reservation. However, it took the hotel managament over 2 months to refund my money for the stay. Hotel employees did not return my phone calls after promising they would and were not helpful or apologetic in dealing with the problem of the absent desk clerk.

Do Not Stay Here

Rooms were filthy. In disrepair. Dirty linens and towels. Room was isolated-dark area-not close to parking. Continental breakfast not that good. Mold around tub. Rusted bed lamps. Avoid this place-there was no Quality here!
Had a hard time finding a hotel to accomadate a wife and five kids, but this hotel came through for us. We were given a two room suite with more than enough beds for everyone. The beds were super comfortable and the pool was clean. What else could you need ? York is a very nice town and the hotel is surrounded by all the stores and restaurants to make your stay very easy.
