This hotel is currently closed and in the process of selling June 2009.
We stayed there 18 months ago. Beautiful place!! However, our room was robbed by hotel staff while we were in the dining room the first night. Hotel management said "too bad", your risk.

Not nearly what we expected. Our room,next to the noisey, turn of the century, elevator shaft, was plain and small. The paint in the bathroom was bubbled and peeling. And the view out our window of the interstate highway was not impressive. Not to mention the noise of the semi-trucks as they barreled down the the interstate kept us awake most of the night.

My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon at this hotel, mostly because we didn't have much time to spend away from our SW Washington State home. My mother had her marriage ceremony there this Sept. I found everything to exceed expectations. With the view and lush gardens this could be an experience to remember for all. Even if you don't stay take a stroll around. Absolutely gorgeous

This hotel was a real gem. The 1st thing I noticed upon arrival was the spectacular grounds overlooking the columbia gorge. The staff was amazing and very friendly. An old friendly dog welcomes all visitors. Rooms were well maintained with an old world style. The hotel far exceded anything that I would expect. Lastly, the food was top notch. A wonderful experience!!
