We had so much fun at the Lake Murray Lodge this summer on the 4th of July! The room are small, but clean and very cool! Nice air conditioning and we liked the restaurant at the Lodge. I highly recommend you visit Lake Murray State Park if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. We live about 45 minutes away so we go whenever we can. My family and I have gone to Lake Murray cabins for the last 8 years and we love it! It is like stepping back to a simpler time where we can spend time as a family w/o the distractions of daily life. The cabins are old but well kept (for the most part) and the grounds are nice.

My family stayed in a lakeview cabin and loved it. It was within walking distance to the fishing dock which pleased the fishermen in the family and there was a park nearby which pleased the kids. The cabin needed some repair to the screened in front porch but other than that, it was a clean, nice cabin.

No working AC except in the guest rooms. Filthy rooms that smelled horrible. Raw sewage backing up in cabins. This place is a disaster waiting to happen with exposed electrical wiring and rotting structural members. Complaints to the State of Oklahoma about the conditions (Director of Dept of Tourism and Lt Governor's office) have been ignored. It's cheap, but even the low price doesn't make up for the disgusting condition.
