Wanted a quiet weekend getaway - beautiful hotel and bar - slow bar service - we were on the 20th floor - large corner room overlooking skating rink - but the party that was allowed to rage on until 5:30 am Sunday morning and the dried blood on the bath towels and wash cloths will make us look for another downtown hotel to stay in - hallways not kept clean

Expect for the bed bugs, everything was good

My first time in this hotel. The staff was great. The room was ok, bathroom could have been nicer. You can access many stores and restaurants without ever stepping foot out side. Everything was perfect until about 10:00 PM when my wife and I got ready to lie down. We pulled the sheets back and low and behold...several bugs of different sizes on ...

Very nice hotel, but nowhere in the hotel (or the area) to catch a late snack or drink. The hotel bar was beautiful, but poorly staffed.

the best weekend ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/11/07
I planned a get away weekend for my wife and I over the last weekend and it was perfect. Service was perfect, room neat and clean not a huge room which was really nice. The location was great plenty of thing to do within a short walk. The brunch was unbelivable and very relaxing a perfect ending to a perfect weekend. I plan on going back as many times as possiblen

Almost lived here- loved it!

As a former very frequent guest at this outstanding Hilton I can recommend it most highly. The regular rooms are spacious, comfortable, quiet and well appointed. The Belvedere Suit is truly all you could ask for in a fine hotel. The staff are most gracious and extremely accomodating of even the smallest request (yes they can have tuxedo ...
Staff was fantastic. We used the valet service. It cost $21.00 per day; however, if you look at the cost of parking in the city. This was a bargain. We got two rooms and both of them were great. We had views that over looked the river. The beds, except for Crowne Plaza, were one of the best beds I have ever slept on. For the money, it was definitely a bargain. I will stay there everytime I come to Cincinnati.

AWESOME

We had the best time here. It was a great location in walking distance from everyting we wanted to see. The rooms were emaculate, and the staff lived up to Hilton's excellent reputation. We plan on staying here next year when we return.
The hotel is beautiful, and the beds are the best I've ever slept on! However, the staff was 90% rude. Valet parking costs over $20 per day, and it's really the only option.
Our final day there, we needed to leave at 9:00 am. The night before, I requested a valet for our luggage to be at our room by 8:00. At 8:30, I called downstairs ...

Hotel management questionable

I'm at this hotel several times a year... The hotel itself is wonderful... The art deco design is stunningly beautiful... But who's running the breakfast and lunch restaurant? I'm with clients having a causal meeting while having breakfast and this woman pushing a cart from what they call PC express (coffee etc to go) comes barreling ...
i attended a fucnction in the hall of mirrors, and was really enjoying myself. then as they were serving our salads and i unfolded my napkin a dozen tiny roaches fell out. it was disgusting. i would sooner eat at mcdonalds then the hilton netherland plaza.
