The lady at the counter is the most subtly racist I've encountered in a long time and I travel a LOT. She insulted BOTH of my grandparents and suggested we stay in the dump across the street if we didn't like it! Wish I couldv'e gotten her name but she threatened to call the police if we didn't pay or go! Welcome to Ahoskie!

I myself enjoyed my stay at the tomahawk motel. They have good service for a very cheap price. I would'nt to stay ther again.

I don't know the last time I checked into a hotel and was "issued" a remote and an actual key.

If you get there past midnight, look for somewhere else to stay because that's when they close.

I think that people have been lying about this hotel and the ahoski inn. Tomahawk is a small run down motel that is not in the best part of town. The rooms are very run down. They treat you like you are family. Great location. Quite area. All rooms are located on the ground level. One of the cleanest hotels around. Will always stay here when in town.

There are only three choices of hotels in Ahoskie-the Ahoskie Inn IS the best but Tomahawk was the motel our business chose. The rates were better and the staff was great. The rooms were clean, the maid service was exceptional and it was safe and quiet. We will definately use Tomahawk Motel again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Tomahawk Motel. The location is convenient to stores and restuarants. The price is very reasonable and affordable.

In a terrific neighborhood for taking a nice Carolina morning walk in the spring. Rooms are comfy, quiet, especially if you're around in the back. I agree, the 3rd motel is a hole! I've used Tomahawk for years, and though it's gone down a little, it's still a good place to stay.

The place was do-able. I felt very comfortable. It is in a wonderful neighborhood.
