a really good deal, the kids loved the pool and workout room, the staff was friendly, i think it is avery good deal.

THey let people smoke in the pool area( which was closed in), the room was not clean looking, and I got bit by a spider while I was sleeping. Or atleast I think it was a spider...TOO pricey for what you fet, will NEVER go back, nor would I recomend.

Terribly filthy, smelly, stained, outdated.  Most things broken.  Price was jacked up on the weekend.  Will never stay again and will tell friends not to stay.

My family and I stayed over the weekend of May 2-4,2008. We weren't expecting a 5 star hotel, but we wanted a fun place to stay with out 2 childern. I stayed in the Appalachian Suite which was in fairly good shape, the carpet and bedding and bathroom area were clean and not to mention the jacuzzi was realaxing! my kids enjoyed the indoor pool ...

Housekeeping was yet to be desired...they just took YOUR beding and through it onto the floor and walked "all" over it--including the pillows! The restaurant was full of drunks, and you couldn't go there to have dinner with the family; needless to say, management had no "control" over their guests--yelling and screaming ...

i will admit the hotel is older than most in town, but i enjoyed my stay the front desk staff was very helpful with getting around the city, it appeared that my room had new carpet, my family enjoyed the pool area and eating dinner at geno's, i just wish the room included "hot" continental breakfast, but the stay was overall good!

Looks good from the outside, nice little waterfall with ducks. Thought about sleeping in the car the room was so bad. Wall paper coming off of wall, tv from the 60's, ceiling tiles out of place, blanket on bed should have been replaced years ago. Continental breakfast offered would not have thought about eating it.
