Been going since 2006. Best value for location.When going to Montauk, know that it is still a sleepy beach community that is perfect for families. This place is the best if you want to be on the beach and not pay a ton of money. A big disappointment -Without actually seeing the hotel, I booked it by phone then travelled
3 1/2 hrs to get there only to have to wait til 4 pm when my room was
ready. the receptionist told me the room I had was actually next to her
and I mean actually part of the office! I walked out found a door and

A little retro with natural beautySo many places feel the need to over build and overcomplicate. The unspoiled beauty of the Montauk beach is the left to speak for itself.
The rooms are comfortable enough and offer spectaculat vistas of the ocean.

just okThe rooms were dingy. The beds were uncomfortable. Insufficient parking. The only good thing about the Wavecrest is the location. Not worth the money they charge in the summer. Great views Beautiful beachLoved the view, kids loved the indoor pool the beach was great, they provide lounges, umbrella's, bbq's on the beach we loved it. The rooms have a refrig, stove and microwave & we brought movies for the kids all the rooms have vcr's. We also had a small fire on the beach at night. I loved it! it was beautiful and romantic. When your not sitting out on the deck with a bottle of wine, cheese & crackers and your favorite guy, you can take a drive into town(which your not far from),so there's always something to do.
In fact, I'm doing it again this month.

AMAZINGI love this palce it has the best maintenece and a relaxing room. Also I know a lot about the town so its fun to go to town and eat at Harvest or get breakfest at the Montauk Bakery. greative been visiting the wavecrest since i was a baby and my parents brought me. we have befriended the staff and many visitors. if you are looking for a clean, comfortable hotel for the family to stay at, this is the place. the beach is very clean and has a beach guy who moves all your chairs. this hotel is just a short walk away from a playground ...3 of 4 Yahoo! Most relaxing holiday in agesThis was one of the most beautiful beaches I have visited. The Wavecrest staff were most friendly,helpful and efficient especially that good looking Irish guy who organised my beach chair every day. Grounds are kept very clean and the weather was fantastic. Taxi service very good. Good choice of restaurants in Montauk. We will definitely be returning to the Wavecrest Resort.4 of 4 Yahoo!
