Definitely not a 4 Star motel

I hadn't been here since 2002 and just read the recent reviews. They tell me nothing has improved since 2002 and it was awful then. The 4 Star rating is very deceiving. Read the reviews....they are certainly NOT 4 Star material!

This motel has a lot of potential being that it is a beachfront in one of the most exclusive areas in long island. The beach is gorgeous with a mini boardwalk and friendly people, however, this lodge is out of place. The Tides is a tired Motel. The owners appear to be updating the worst of the rooms.
