I stayed at the Roosevelt and was very displeased. The rooms were awful they were very small and they smelled horrible. Very outdated. The bathrooms were disgusting the water was rusty and yellow. The bathtub/shower kept cloging. No clock, safe was broken, lamb was broken. The service was awful. I do not reccomend anyone stay here.Way over priced for a dirty smelly hotel room....
You have to stay in this hotel at least once in your life. You will be disrespected by the rude and bad mannered porters at the door, particularly by an individual called Joe. He will not give you your luggage even if you are in a rush. You will have always something missing to be replenished in your room. One day it will be towels, next it will be ...

While the location of this hotel is ideal and the lobby is nice, just about everything else is subpar. The rooms are outdated and the particular room I stayed in smelled terribly. I found the peple at the front desk to be extremely rude and unhelpful and, after having my luggage and its contents damaged while in the care of the porter, would not recommend their services. I cannot stress enough how disappointed I was with my stay.
When researching hotels for my upcoming NYC wedding, I came across the Roosevelt Hotel (based soley on location). After corresponding via email with a disorganized events staff employee by the name of Rose , I had scheduled an appt to view a room on Sunday, May 17. When I arrived, I approached the front desk by Alfredo who completely dismissed me ...
Problems with Roosevelt Hotel in New York City: At 2:20 am the front desk calls & says they had a complaint that our Tv was too loud. I told the woman that they were mistaken because our Tv was not on and we had been asleep for hours. as my sis and I are 62 & 64 yrs. old. She then said I am warning you that if this happens again ...

I took my son to NYC for a long week end, upon arriving at this hotel,it was the start of a great adventure for him. The hotel is located so convenient to everything, The room was very nice with two double beds and very clean, the housekeeping staff were great, we walked to Broadway and Times Sq everyday , the concierge told us exactly how to take ...
I have never in my life stayed at such a horrible hotel. The receptionists are rude and couldn't care less about their customers. They charged my credit card THREE times for the stay, yet wouldn't refund the two 'accidental' charges, and it was only when I threatened to call the police and accused them of fraud that they agreed to ...
This is a truly horrible hotel. The staff are rudest I have ever met and can't be bothered with their customers. The bellboys are none existent, even if you hold out money to offer a tip. They spent more time chatting with the dubious looking women that hang outside the hotel morning, noon and night. I later found out from the owner of a local ...
Prices in Manhattan for lodging seem very high, compared to similar size cities. We were very satisfied with the Roosevelt and will return there. Super location, lovely lobby, courteous staff, very clean and quiet room, clean bathroom, nice amenities, good TV. Only negative: AC didn't work so great.
For the past 5 years every summer I've been coming to New York. I never had a problem with hotels, but this time I booked reservations online and paid in advance, and when I got there, check in problems occurred. Instead of giving me a room with two double beds, like I had paid for, they gave me a room with one big bed for me and my guest to ...
