We visited West Point with our son in early August 2007. We arrived late and the staff couldn't have been more accomodating. The next morning the breakfast overlooking the Hudson was stunning. We just spent a night at this hotel and even though we got one of the renovated rooms the mattress was uncomfortable, the sheets scratchy, there were only two towels in the room, no mini bar, room service closed at 11:00pm. I have been to hotels that offered this service for 1/3 the price. I will just stay at a Marriott the next time and earn some hotel points.

This is most horrible experience I had. Even the hotel located inside of the West Point and has a long history; there are a lot of bad factors about this property.
