Beautiful Grounds, OverpricedWe stayed at Geneva on the Lake from 5/23/08 to 5/26/08. The check in process was smooth, friendly, and fast. The grounds are beautiful although many of the sculptures are in need of repair. a touch of charm and class in wine countryNot often do you find a resort with the ambiance that Geneva On The Lake brings to the suttle towns in it's area. We found all the employees were helpful, cheerful, and knowledgeable about the history of their hotel. The Italian architecture and formal gardens brought us back to romantic Italy. unique experienceA group of us stayed recently in 3 2 room suites on the third floor(no elevators) and the amenities were very nice. We stayed for both dinner and Sunday brunch and the chef was outstanding.

DisappointmentFacility is run down and not maintained. Dated spider webs in the hall ceilings and window treatments - stairs not vacuumed, suite carpet badly stained, rusted bathroom mirror & bathtub drain. Really, really over priced.
