I went in the econolodge praying i wouldn't find a problem. I was extremely surprised at how nice everything was. The when the shuttle brought me to the hotel, the exterior looked far too nice for an econolodge. I'm a pretty clear guy, and I swear the guy at the front desk was constantly yelling at me, as if I was a complete idiot.

On the phone, he yelled at me. When I asked to have two beds in the room instead of a king size, he yelled at me.

Maybe there was a language barrier, but in the service industry, it is important to be somewhat welcoming. Oh well.

THE GOOD THING IS IT WAS CONVIENENT TO SU UNIVERSITY FOR THE PARENTS WEEKEND!! THERE WAS NOT A FULL BATH, IT NEEDED TO BE VACCUMED, THE BATH ROOM FLOOR WAS STAINED, THE CLERK WAS COURTEOUS, AND I DID MENTION TO HIM MY DISAPPONITMENT. IT WAS VERYYYY OVER PRICED!!! I LOVED THE HOTEL. THE BEDS WERE SOFT AND SERVICE WAS GREAT, BUT THE FREE BREAKFAST WAS NOT THAT GREAT. IF YOU GET UP LATE BEFORE BREAKFAST IS OVER THERE IS NO MORE FOOD, EXCEPT BAGELS COLD EGGS.

staff very courteous and helpful. great direction sheet that was made available that gave acurate and concise directions to major areas in syaracuse.

rooms were comfortable and clean. hotel was quiet.
needs minor exterior work to touch up the look but otherwise a very passable and convenient place to stay.
