Royal Hawaiian Resort Motel is most definately not a resort!!!

The motel was run down and just old. The only good thing about the motel was the pool/hot tub. The pool/hot tub were clean and the outside of the motel looked decent and that's how they get people to stay there because the rooms were dirty. We rented two rooms because we went down with family. The "J" unit couch smelled like a dirty ...
The only thing that made our stay at this hotel tolerable was the maid. We tipped her well the day we arrived and our room was always made up early, we received extra towels and sheets. The towels were stained as were the sheets and pillows, but that isn't the maids fault. Our room was at the end of the hall way, so all day and all night we ...
What was once a nice hotel has tumbled down and down through the years...

We started going to Wildwood in the late 1980s. Our friends had a house down there, but they sold it in 1994. We loved Wildwood, so we continued to go back - but in hotels. The Royal Hawaiian was our first choice - and it was beautiful! Gorgeous, spacious rooms, lots of clensiness, great staff. We continued to stay there until around 1998 when it ...
AVOID THIS HOTEL IF YOU CAN! SOILED CIELING TILES, SHODDY CARPETING, OLD FURNITURE, NO ROOM SERVICE, CRAMPED "SUITES" THAT ARE SOUR!!! ALL THE WAY AROUND. PAY A LITTLE MORE AND STAY AT THE "REGIS" RESORT INSTEAD. THE ONLY THING THIS MOTEL HAS GOING FOR IT IS LOCATION.
My fiance and I stayed at the Royal Hawaiian for the first time last year. I honestly cannot believe some of the claims that people are making. There was not one thing to complain about during our 3-night stay in late June 2006. Our room was spacious for 2 peopled. From the moment we arrived to the day we departed our room was spotless. No smell, ...
The rooms smelled. After being in the pool i saw a couple of clumps of hair... DISGUSTING.... none of the service people were nice... all were rude... the kids of the owners were clerks.... NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN
The rooms were not bad. The view was gorgeous.. Very Close to the Beach.... But the service was rude.... We had reserved three rooms got charged for 3 but were given two....
If you like to stay in a smelly, rundown motel then this is your place. The rooms stink....bad. The furniture is old and shabby. The outside furniture is sticky with filth. The hot tub is over run with unsupervised small children. It's like trying to relax in the kiddie end of the pool. And worst of all is the lousy front desk staff. ...
I booked the Royal Hawaiian in February for our September stay. I started reading the reviews on-line and got a little nervous. This hotel definitely fit our needs; a large enough room, a heated pool, right on the beach, and a play room for the kids. We stayed in the two bedroom/two bath efficiency and had plenty of room. Yes, the room had a bit of ...
I planned a quick trip with some friends to Wildwood NJ. The Royal Hawaiian was ready to meet all of our needs by allowing us to stay just one night were the other hotels only allowed for a 3 night minimum. After I spent $242 for one night I started reading the reviews and I made myself scared since ive had poor experiences at Wildwood with hotel ...
