The pictures on the internet are very misleading, also when I called to make reservations the staff stated to me that this was a 4 star facility, this place was aweful, my husband and I drove about 150 miles one way to this, we turned around and drove back, and to add insult to injury, we were not refunded the 119.00 they charged, this place needs to be shut down!!!!!!!!!!!! A TOTAL DISASTER

the place is a dump from the word go.The owners that speak broken english do not understand what a clean room should be.The view is perfect.But the rooms are a mess.Not worth the 225 a night plus tax.
This year we will sray at the point royal where the owners speak english not Indiam

The view of the Ocean is panoramic.It really stays with you for awhile,after you leave.The pool is great,nice size and clean.Steps away from the sand.The rooms are fine.The air-conditioning needs help in the back rooms,Rooms are clean.The staff is the best.Lee @ the front desk is the best. We go every year.

the motel was ok i was with a group of seniors from my job. because it was off season the were not fully staffed. rooms were clean but they are under renovation, the tour company should have told us that, because the phones in the rooms were not working.overall it was ok.the view was the best.

This was our second visit to this motel and we absolutely loved it - again! The location is unbeatable, the pool is awesome, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is courteous and always helpful. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. We can't wait to go back next year. It's perfect!!!

My family and I have been staying at the Madrid for the past 27 years. Always clean, and never had a problem with the service. I love that every room overlooks the ocean. How better can it get being right on the beach. This is the best you can get for a Jersey Shore motel. I can't wait to go again.

ppl are so nice and it is a little far from the boardwalk but in fun times like that, that doesnt even matter, the ocean is right in front of you and the pool is just steps away from the sand, it is beautiful and if u go in spring it is soo cheap, ive never been there in summer but i bet it is still chaper hen many other hotels over there, i love madrid! :)

I'm disappointed that I do not feel the same way as the other reviewers, maybe it was our particular room. My main problem was with the bathroom. The white tub must be in-bedded with dirt because it always looked dirty, the shower knob was corroded looking, along with "patch" jobs around it. It was not very appealing to look at, ...

Had the best time at the Madrid. The place is in a greaet location and the view is beyond anything you could possible get in all of wildwood. THe pool was crystal clear and refreshing. It was well maintained.
The service was excellent for beginning to end. We got extra towels, are unit was santitized and clean at all times. The front desk was ...
