Spent 11/29/09 at hotel and took my children. Had a "Mountain Side" room and found the carpet & furnishings were fairly new and the room was clean. The meeting rooms and outside need updating but it was worthy of the price. The Sunday Brunch was decent and affordable. A good value. Didn't use the Water Park but the children ...
This might seem like a negative bashing, but I assure you it's not. I will start off with the positives: Waterpark is excellent. Full breakfast buffet (although expensive $16/pp). Loft rooms are fun! Sweeping, rolling grounds give a nice touch with the surrounding mountains. From there it's all downhill. We booked our 1st trip Aug 2007 ...

Over priced hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/05/09
Have stayed at hotel once a year since 1994. Each year service has gotten worse and price has gone up. Stopped staying there 2006, until they put in the water park in 2008. Water park is great, Hotel is bad. Meals are not recommended, only good for laugh. Service is very poor. Not the hotel is used to be. OVER PRICED!!!!
We paid $249 a night to stay here on labor day weekend. I have stayed in a $249 dollar a night hotel and this is far from it! The water park is great and Id recomend staying somewhere else and driving here to use it. The toliet over flowed our first morning, they did come and fix it but left feces on the outside of the toilet. They never came to ...

Water Park is AWESOME!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/22/08
The Kahuna Laguna is very cool. My grandfather built the building and made it all happen. Now, the townhouse beds are uncomfortable, but condo beds are fine. The waterpark has 4 slides, toddler center, wave pool, cafe', and a 14 gallon bucket that pours water. This is recommended for kids of all ages! Hey even parents enjoy.

junk hotel

Google "Extremely overpriced Nice new indoor waterpark" and you will get to my review, which is mysteriously squelched from displaying properly.
This hotel is overpriced, overrated, dirty and a sever disappointment.
It is supposedly #2 in the area - that mystifies me.
Don't do it unless you simply find the waterpark too irresistible. The hotel is absolute garbage.
What ever you do, do not loose your wrist band for the water park. On our last moring there, my 6 yr old daughter lost her wrist band. After searching the room high and low for it, we went to the front dect to inquire about a replacement, to which they replied it would cost us an additional 25.00. Now keep in mind, this was our last morning ...

How awsome is this
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/26/07
I loved this place because it gave me great serive and the people were so nice and kind. I freccomended this to my family. I enjoy New Hampshire because it is a beautiful place to be in.
Every year, my family stays at the Red Jacket over the Columbus Day weekend. We have been going there for nearly 25 years and I look forward to the vacation more than one could fathom. The breakfast buffet is out of this world and the location is absolute perfection. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't find a better place to stay.
This was our 3rd visit to Red Jacket. We were thrilled to be back. The new outdoor pool is fantastic, the spa is great, the food is great, they view is spectacular. Need I say more. We have already booked our Decemeber trip. I can't say enough about the Red Jacket.
