We love this place. It is great for just the two of us and also great for when we have the kids with us. I love the small room with just a twin bed for my alone getaways......You haven't been to truckee unless you have stayed here!!!

Some older hotels can be quaint and nostalgic. This place needs a lot of work. Go if you don't mind paying $200.00 a night for towels that are ripped, climbing 3 flights of stairs, no parking, basically no one at the front desk.
