We rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath with a loft in Feb.of 2008. 6 of us in the room. Our room had current & clean furnishings. Kitchen was ample stocked with all goodies needed to cook. The only 3 issues we had was asking that they deice the walkway. After several requests they "got around to it" and about 6 of the electrical plugs did not ...

1975 Townhome-Horrible stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/02/08
My family just returned from our HORRIBLE stay at Lakeland Village. We rented a 4 bedroom townhome. We had several problems: carpet was filthy, it appeared that it had not been cleaned since it was installed. The carpet had holes in it as well. It was furnished with 1975 Motel 6 furniture. The refrig was broken. The curtains had stains all over ...
We stayed in the lodge portion of the resort. We had a 1 bedroom (King size bed)Full bath, with a loft(Queen sized bed) 1/2 bath in loft. Kitchen was set-up nicely with a small refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, etc... Fully stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, even a blender. Silverware and even a corkscrew. It was ...

Great Location and service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/07
Can't beat the location on the beach and a wide variety of units to choose from. From condo type units in a 3 story "hotel" to 5 bedroom units on the beach.
I liked the value and location of the townhouse units in the trees. Petty quiet during the week and busier on the weekend.
Full kitchens, good beds (triple sheets), a real ...
My stay took place over a long weekend in July 2006. I have never complained at any establishment I have ever been a guest at prior to Lakeland. That being said, I have been treated kinder in 3rd world countries in $18/night accommodations. Seriously. My room at Lakeland was $250/night. I literally was filling out a complaint card within 10 ...
Loved the hotel. The service was fantastic as the staff were very helpful with advice and the free shuttle was great (saves a lot of money on cab fair to and from skiing, eating, and gambling and there's no need to rent a car if you take the airport shuttle from Reno). The hotel was not accessable to the casinos without a long walk but this was ...

Very good value; comfortable family/group resort.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/29/05
We have been staying at the Lakeland Village for the past 10 years. We have been there in the summer as well as the winter. The last time was February 2005. The place is very conveniently located, close to shopping, skiing, and casinos. The rooms are large, well maintained, and pleasant. The kitchen is large enough to cook for a family, and the ...

Nice place to stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/27/05
Nice comfortable room for the money. Staff was very pleasant and informative. We stayed in a small unit in the hotel part. Very clean, no noise from other units. Would stay there again. If looking for a clean, cost efficient place to stay, this would be it.
