My stay there was mediocre at best. Worst part of the hotel was I was charged twice for one stay and Im still waiting for their accounts department to credit me back and it's been over a week since my stay. I had to resort to contacting my credit card company to block payment. Pay attention to any promotions you sign up for since reservation ...
I coordinated a conference at Harveys and absolutely loved the place. We had about 250 attendees and the Harveys staff were super to work with. The rooms are very nice and most have a great view. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to book a conference! I would also recommend it if you are just going there for vacation. In ...
I loved this place ! I definately want to stay again at Harvey's. Only thing I wish they had coffee in the rooms, but we survived. The hotel was georgous.

The location is one of the most beautiful ones that I have seen in a long time, and I have traveled the world. The room service staff were extremely nice and very prompt. The ladies that cleaned our rooms were also great. I agree that a coffee maker should be in the rooms, the "Starbucks" staff were very slow and unfriendly. The ...

The room is nice and clean and the bathroom was a nice size. The staff doing the check in/check out was not have a professional or nice attitude. I did not like the cigarette smell in the lobby, but that is expected since there is a casino right upstairs. Too bad there is no smoke-free casinos. The other bad thing is that they charge $10 to use ...

the decline of entertainment in tahoe
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/06
biggest disappointment was in the lack of quality entertainment
gone is the sense of a boutique hotel the harrahs corporate smell is omnipresent
poor entertainment policies
the redeeming feature is of course lake tahoe

Not luxury accommodation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/06
Good value for being able to stay near the casinos, gondola and shopping, but room was pretty basic. No coffee maker, no hairdryer, pillows smelled like smoke (in a non-smoking room). Restaurants were almost imopossible to find through the Casino and also pretty basic. Room service quality was very good, very fast and the staff was very friendly ...
The rooms in the Lake Tower were beautiful! The food at Kitchen 19 was great, ad well as the Pacifica Buffet. Slot machines were very tight. Don't waste your time and money on the show "Debbie Loves Dallas".

Not what it used to be
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/03/06
Harveys use to be a great hotel before Harrahs bought it and ruined it. The rooms use to have robes and coffeemakers in them but when Harrahs bought them they took them all out. The worst thing of all is they reduced the amount of cocktail waitresses and on the NFL Sunday we were there , there were only 2 waitresses covering the entire punters ...
