I arrived at tahoe around 7 PM at president weekend and had checked several other hotels which had no vacancy. Then we spotted Crown Motel and parked our car at the road side, went into their office, were greeted by a very friendly gentleman. Luckily they had exactly the room available we desired at a price lower than we expected. The rooms are very clean and everything available especially free internet.

I love the 2 pools one is warm and one is not. The people are really nice and it has good service. The hotel is clean. I would reccommend this to all travelers and vacationers that visit Lake Tahoe.

Great rates on great rooms - we stayed in a pair of Lake-view rooms with King-size beds for something like $90 a night (off-peak), booked only a few days in advance. Worth calling to find out, and if you track down their website you can see a map of the facility, with clickable pictures of the rooms.

This place was a great find, especially for being the weekend before Valentine's Day. Kings beach is a great location- centrally on the north shore. The Crown Motel is modest, comfortable, clean and affordable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hot tub is great! Dont' forget to eat at Jason's down the street.
