I enjoy never really having to leave the Hotel. The hotel is connected to 2 other hotels, parking structures, restuarants and stores.
If your hungry? Try Kookopelis for some great sushi!
Or there is The Steak House for some Grade Meat & fine dining.
Or if your on a budget the buffet is great!
But Best of all The Americana cafe has great service, reasonable price food sadly there is always a line!

Booked 2 beds in room..got 1
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/06
My friend and I got a kick out of our single bed when we arrived July 2nd 2006 @ Circus-Circus.Front desk said that was all they had available..Moved us to a handicapped suite that had 2 beds.oops..we moved ourselves as I went to the desk to get new pass keys,no help was offered. No apology..Front desk said Manager would call us. Manager NEVER ...
The hotel was very nice w/ lots of activities for the kids, but not everything was as expected. The circus shows, while very good lasted about 5 minutes each and started every 45 minutes. Not only that, it was in the middle of the kids arcade with no seats and having to stand by the railing. I was under the assumption that there would be some shows ...
Your employees are only as good as your management. The Circus Circus current management would struggle to be greeters at Wal Mart. Incompetence with moments of mediocrity run rampant in this hotel, from the desk staff to the restaurant staff. Don't waste your money or time at this hotel.

You get what you pay for

Everything about this facility was third class. It should have been imploded years ago. The food was terrible - food quality and service. The layout is horrid and I felt like I was vacationing in the Republic of Mexico.

Why listen to me...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/17/06
...because you are reading this already. My husband and I go to Reno every six months,at least, more in the summer when driving isn't such a pain. Circus Circus is our choice every time. They do have Pro's (location, gaming variety, food selection) and Con's (check-in line, change stands, cleanliness), but the Pro's out-weigh the ...

KIDS, KIDS, KIDS!

Good hotel and convenient but expect to see lots of kids. This is definitely a family oriented hotel-casino. There is some construction going on now so it will be interesting to see what the results are.

We love Circus Circus!! We have been going to Reno for about 7 years now...at least once a year, sometimes 2 or 3 times. We have stayed at El Dorado and Legacy and we really prefer Circus. the price is great and the rooms are clean and large. We have always had great service and have gotten exactly what we asked for...non smoking, double ...
Hotel experience was fine. Customer service reps at front desk were very personable and helpful with our late check-out request. Room cleanliness was fine. Overall pleasureable hotel experience.

Good for Families
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/09/06
If you plan on taking your kids with you, this is the place to take them. Even if you don't want to spend the money in the kids gaming area to win toys, you can walk most of downtown Reno and see shops and get some fresh air. It may not be the best place for gambling, but the family friendly attitude has been the same since I was a child in the 1980s.
