The newly remodeled Courtyard, previously Holiday Inn, is just a Holiday Inn with a paint job and a new sign. Absolutely the worst mattress I've attempted to sleep on in several years. The menu at the resturant consists of deep fried whatever. Don't expect a real Marriott Courtyard if you stay at this place.

07/07/07... This Hotel has not recovered from Katrina, even 2 years after. The pool is closed, the rooms smell of mildew, the floors are filthy, and the trash cans at the front entrance are overflowing.

Beautiful view of the gulf of Mexico. Room was fairly spacious, with a little couch area near the window. Service was great; they upgraded us to an ocean-view room for free!

This hotel took a major hit during Katrina, but I found was back up and running(partially), on a biz trip in late July.

It was really nice to find vacancy when everything else was full and it is on the beach. The temp office is on the second floor.

I would recommend.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. THE PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT WERE REALLY NICE. EVERYONE WAS SO CURTIOUS, FREINDLY, FAST ON GETTING SHUTTLES, LOVELY SCENE OF BEACH. STOP IN AND SEE JUDY IN THE RESTAURANT SHE IS GREAT!!!!

close to beach and casinos. beautiful pool area. our family meets here every summer. we love it!!!

The staff were all helpful and courteous. The location was great - you just have to cross Beach Road to get to the water. Nice view. The workout room is pretty small and not much equipment to choose from though.

Stayed at this particular HI perhaps a dozen times in the last few years. Each visit was great. Nice staff. Friendly. Didn't spend much time in the room always around the beaches, golfing or the pool. Food was great at the buffett...and the bar personnel were always there to fill me back up.
