the marriott downtown was beautiful and clean and we enjoyed our one night stay there. the restaurant downstairs was a little pricey, but otherwise we highly recommend it!

This place was not a good experience for me at all.They charge extra for everything! The hotel was very reasonably priced. The location left a lot to be desired, as there really aren't many places to eat or visit in the immediate area. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds, decent furniture, and small but decent bathrooms. The restaurant in the hotel is ok, but service is on the slow side. Overall it's a decent place to stay with friendly staff and clean facilities.

As a government traveler I usually stay in Mariott Hotels. However, in this instance when I asked if they had "the government rate" they responded that they did. However, it is not the GSA goverment rate. Its their own government rate! $19.00 higher than GSA's published rates.
