The facility was really new, clean and updated. It was a great value, especially during the holiday weekend. My only complaint has little to do with the hotel and more to do with the guests; some clown pulled the fire alarm a little before midnight. The alarm was not reset for over 20 minutes. I would visit this hotel again, just not on New Years Eve.

The hotel tried to charge a much higher rate than had been quoted to 2 different people, that I know of. Then when the guests argued, Travis didn't back down from the higher price. Both instances the people had to go to the reservation manager. Why?

Our family of 4 stayed here recently. The hotel has an "art deco" lobby and adjacent bar/restaurant. The restaurant food and service was excellent. The Sunday buffet was second to none. The hotel has the nicest pool area that we have stayed at in the Twin Cities. Our suite was very spacious and comfortable. We'd definitely return again.
