For as long as I can remember my 'secretary' Buffy and I used to have Friday Lunch at the dear old Fletcher. She would 'take dictation' and then I would let her "fax" to her hearts content.Since they started using the place to train 'SWAT' teams and their dogs,there is just not the same ambience.

This place is closed down and boarded up, they should take it off the list of motel options!

Its a dump! Needs updating really bad, it would be better if they just tore it down and started over.

this place is excellent for teens who want to party and are on a budget. it is very inexpensive and the rooms are pretty big. i definatly recommend it. haha.

The Fletcher is a decent, inexpensive hotel that I often use when I'm in town. If you're looking for 4-star accomodations at a 2-star price, you're going to be disappointed. But if you want a large, comfortable room, accomodating staff, and pleasant surroundings at a price that won't break you, check it out.

We reserved the room for three days while we were in Alpena for a funeral. The parking lot had been plowed but we had to climb over slick snow to get to our room. The beds were wore out from single people sleeping in the middle of the mattress leaving a deep dent. We had queen size sheets on our double beds. The bath towels were of different ...

The Fletcher Motel offers excellent family style dining in a casual atmosphere with gourmet food. There is a friendly staff, and good service. The motel is in need of some updates, but with some exterior improvements it would be very comparable to the other hotel chains.

This hotel is a dump from the word go. I went there with my family and the kids could not swim because tere were sanitary napkins floating in the pool and the hot tub was broke. The rooms are big but need serious updating. The staff is a bunch of ho-jo people with obviously no experience in hotel management. I will never go back to this hotel or reccomend it.

Clean, large open rooms, close to all the attractions and shopping, very friendly staff, comfortable and nicely done. Needs some work on the outside, but the friendly clean atmosphere inside more than makes up for what's lacking outside~
