We began going to Pleasant Bay when my son was a toddler.(30 years ago). We still continue to vacation there and now he has a toddler.This truly is a beautiful find-a cross between a spacious hotel and a mini resort. Last summer my grandson needed to go to the hospital and the front desk at 11:30 pm made sure we knew where to go and the next morning asked about him. Pleasant Bay is like visiting family.

Pleasant Bay Village is one of thoes trully wonderful spots on the cape. The grounds are really lovely, and nothing beats lunch by the pool. Great breakfast. I have stayed in both their smaller rooms and the "cottages", and both are put together well.

Awful people run this place. They were dishonest in their business practices, requiring a three night minimum of some guests and not others. I confronted them about it more than once, and they continued to come up with weak excuses that made no sense. I feel taken advantage of in every way. Location is beautiful, nice pool, great rooms, access to many fine restaurants in the area and the center of town is only a short drive away.

When my wife delivered our son prematurely, I called from the hospital to cancel our reservations (2 weeks in advance). The front desk clerk and manager informed us that we needed to find other occupants or we would be responsible for the full week. That was the last thing we had time to do. We ended up losing the deposit (which was half the week) ...
