The hotel is great...very clean, close to all the major FQ attractions and the river. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to have a good time in New Orleans, yet be in a quiet place for sleeping...
The hotel was very nice. Great location . Dog friendly. Everything was great until we got in our car to leave and realized that it had been broken into while in the hotel parking garage. My daughter had left her I pod in the car and that was gone , plus a bag of change out of the console, sunglasses and headphones also stolen. So, do not leave anything in your car that you don't mind losing!

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/07
We live only 1 hour away from New Orleans and love the city. What a wonderful weekend! Close to all the sights and shopping was fantastic. We all loved the beautiful views from the lobby, pool and rooms. Could have stayed at the pool all night. there was a band playing out front of Harrahs...so watched it from the pool area. Staff was all very nice ...
From the moment you enter the hotel, you knew that your stay and experiences would be unique. The hotel lobby(located on the 5th floor) simply afforded one a breathtaking view of the French Quarter and the mighty Mississippi River.
My room accomodations were comfortable, clean and the view cannot be duplicated. The night view from my hotel ...

A Relaxing Get Away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/05
My husband & I are fulltime ministers so our life is generally full of pressure & activity. Last year, we had an opportunity to get away & relax for a few days. We found a good deal on the internet & booked our stay for 3 days. During our time we were able to park & walk to all the main downtown attractions including great resturaunts. We slept & ...
Although I arrived at check-in time and my room was still not ready for another two hours, the staff at the Wyndham Canal held all the bags and asked us to go take a dip in the pool located on the roof of one of their buildings. I had no problem with it considering it was beautiful outside. An hour and a half later, someone came to tell me that my ...

EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/18/05
The location is fabulous. Close to the French Quarter with a view of the river and city. Not to mention, the casino is right across the street. The shops in canal place are magnificant and you are only 5 minute walk to the famous Riverwalk. This is where I stary everytime I am in New Orleans.
