Very DisappointingOpted for Atrium instead of Travel Lodge because wanted a better quality room but was disappointed in choice. Bedding was less than best. Cable went out but there was no serviceman to even check it out much less fix it. Was not offered a discount when room was not up to standard.OVERALL

Great PeopleThe hotel is under construction but the service and attention all but made up for it. Southern hospitality is all that comes to my mind when thinking of our stay there. AverageDesk staff were great! Remodled room was just your average room. It did have iron and board and also coffee maker. Checked into a smoking room but no ashtrays??? Pleasantly Surprised!My husband and I were in town on business and stayed 4 nights 4/11-4/15/07. The room was a suite that had been remodeled and was divine...granite,fancy shower,3 plasma tvs,fine linens and towels! The only thing lacking was a turn down service and chocolates. Nightmare on the first night!!!I was booked into a room on the first night that I would not house my cat in. It was smelly and dirty. Housekeeping came to "vacuum" the floor but it was still disgustingly filthy. I woke up at 2 AM to a stench that seemed to come from a sewer. Good BreakfastTHEIR RESTAURANT THE BRANDY HOUSE: I especially enjoyed their choices of omelets. Their coffee is delicious.
Their service was a little spotty the mornings I was there seemingly because of being shorthanded.

Terrible experience--beyond belief!Several of my family members arranged to meet at The Atrium for a reunion, reserving one of the meeting rooms as well. The lobby is worn and barely acceptable, but the rooms and grounds are terrible beyond belief. The ride in the elevator was a scary experience, and I took the stairs after one ride upstairs.
