I spent several hours online reading review after review trying to find a decent hotel in Manhattan, KS. I came to the conclusion that there are no good hotels in Manhattan and took a chance on the Holiday Inn @ Campus. It seemed as if all of the negative reviews I had read regarding this hotel had been left before the hotel was renovated. I was ...

This hotel is very clean and updated. Houlihans is also connected. Super service and food. It is across from KSU Union and campus so perfect for visiting the campus or going to Aggieville.

Expensive, but worth it
By Ells, 02/28/07
This is a older hotel, but renovations have recently been completed. It is very modern with a great location next to campus and a few blocks from Aggieville, Bill Snyder Family Stadium, and many other KSU locations. Good beds and great Internet service. This is my favorite place to stay in Manhattan!!!

Suggestions during the renovation
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 06/29/06
I wish I would have been advised, at the time I made my reservation, that this hotel was under renovation! I paid $90.00 per nite for 4 nites in a room that may have been worth $45.00. This hotel offered no amenities, just apologies. No pool, hot tub, sauna, work out room. No arrangement with other local facilities for those complimentary ...

Nothing worked
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 05/24/06
The Good - The bed was comfortable and the TV worked.
The Bad - The air conditioner "squealed" the entire stay, the telephone did not work, the shower head did not work, the toilet did not flush, the sink did not work correctly.
I will not be staying here again.

Your Typical "cheese box" cement hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 09/10/05
The Golden Fork restaurant attached to the hotel is a wonderful place to eat. That, and the hotel's location across the street from the KSU campus, are the only 2 reasons to stay in this over-priced, 1960s cement-box "cell" hotel. The rooms are 'basic,' but what we found particularly odd was that the hotel doors open ...

Over Priced ! Needs work
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 09/14/04
There was only 1 good thing to say about this room and that was the beds were awesome! I NEVER SLEPT ON A MORE COMFORTABLE BED!The rate is to high for this hotel. It is getting old and showing the wear and tear. Our bathtub had a steady dripping the whole 5 days we were there. The towel rack fell off the wall on one side. There was huge spots on ...
