Just returned from a four day trip to Madison and once again had a most relaxing, wonderful stay at Clifty Inn, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! We have been staying there for the past six years and always look forward to our next visit.

Love Madison - hate the Clifty. Better bring your own mattress. All of ours (we stayed in one of the newly remodeled suites) were worn out. We checked out three days early and no one even asked why at the front desk. We got two adjoining rooms at the Quality Inn nearby and couldn't believe the difference!

Every thing about the place was impressive! My daughter (8yo) loved the size of the indoor pool, I was impressed with the bed, and qualiy to detail, Ive stayed in rooms that went for more than 180 a night and were not even in the same class as this room.

The view at the Riverview earns it's name for obvious reasons. The location is minutes away from the pleasant town of Madison where you can stock up on supplies for an extended stay. The buffet at the Clifty Inn will keep you fed and then some. Try to visit in the off-season for a nice seculded visit.

I WENT TO MADISON, IN FOR A ONE DAY TRIP IN JULY (PERTAINING TO MY JOB). I HAVE BEEN BACK 3 TIMES SINCE. WE STAYED AT CLIFTY INN. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! AND THERE IS AN ATMOSPHERE THERE LIKE NO OTHER PLACE. I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK. I HAVE INFORMATION THAT I BROUGHT BACK FOR ALL OF MY FRIENDS. I KNOW THEY WILL LOVE IT AS MUCH AS MY HUSBAND AND I DID.

I have stayed at Clifty Inn many times and it is one of the best hotels I've ever found. You get a 5 star room for a 2 star price!! The staff is the best you will ever find! Their restraunt has some of the best food you will ever eat! Plan for a friday night to have their Seafood Buffet. They have crab leggs and all the fixings!!! I stay here at least a couple times a year!!
