I truely loved this place. everything was nice and pretty i loved the bedrooms and the services only when we had to call at least five times to get a tooth brush and a bar of soap the price was nice but the bedroom was not so clean when i had first walked in the room there was some crumbs on the bed still some things on the tables but over all it was okay

I booked a room at the Palmer House in 2002. The pool was freezing. I went in and then I jumped back out. I stayed on the top floor and in a corner room. It was OK.. But, I'll never stay here again!!!

The Palmer House Hilton is an absolute dissapointment. I was expecting service and accomodations that were at least in the ballpark of fine Chicago hotels. Instead, my stay could not have been worse--from the first steps in, to the last steps out. I could not wait to leave, and I will never stay at the Palmer House again.

This is not a four star hotel. My wife and I visited Chicago over Labor Day. We had to wait untill 6:00pm for a room, after arriving at 1:30pm. the room we were given featured a full size bed and was generally shabby,(peeling paint and wallpaper and threadbare carpet) A call to the manager got a response of "this is an old hotel". ...

One of my favorite in Chicago

I visit Chicago three to four times a year. I have been in several hotels in the Loop and Airport areas.
This hotel's location in Downtown Chicago is one the main attractions. It is near to all the places I want to go to.
It is a real jewel that I had past up before. The room was very comfortable, and clean, a real pleasure to stay in.

The Hotel location is A1. The standard of the rooms and service was ecellent. The staff were polite curtious and most helpful. We would recommend this as an ideal place to stay for easy access to Chicagos main attractions and sites

The palmer house is located on Monroe (N and S) between Wabash(E and W) and State (e and w). It lays in a good location. Just north of the palmer is the shopping areas, and the Chicago river up a few blocks. This hotel gives access to a lot in the city.

I called to book a double bed and they honored that request and then i called the night before my stay and they told me that they have no double beds and could not do anything for me. very disappointed in how they treat their customers. they messed up and then woud not do anything for me.
