We stayed here for one week for our anniversary. We didn't like Maui in general....Oahu is so much better for young couples with chic hotels like the W and Halekulani. The Sheraton Maui is a beautiful resort. We were greeted with a fresh lei at checkin. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent - right next to Black Rock - great snorkeling. Hotel itself is beautiful with great views, open areas and very good (but a little pricey) food. We've been there 3 times in the last 5 years and each time was better than before. Don't go anywhere else.

The location of this hotel is the best feature of the hotel. On the back of the hotel is a beautiful white sand beach with access to a good snorkelling site. While I was snorkellin there, I saw three sea turtles. It was awesome! The hotel room itself is very clean and updated, unlike many of the hotels in Hawaii that still have 70s look.
