We stayed here for one week for our anniversary. We didn't like Maui in general....Oahu is so much better for young couples with chic hotels like the W and Halekulani. Maui is TOO kid friendly, not the place to be romantic...too chaotic... There were KIDS EVERYWHERE at the Sheraton. We could not go to the jacuzzi at all without a kid in diapers ...

The Sheraton Maui is a beautiful resort. We were greeted with a fresh lei at checkin. Our room was not ready so they upgraded us to an ocean front suite, and gave us a bottle of champagne.(we also told them it was our honeymoon.) We could see the whales from our patio. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent - right next to Black Rock - great snorkeling. Hotel itself is beautiful with great views, open areas and very good (but a little pricey) food. We've been there 3 times in the last 5 years and each time was better than before. Don't go anywhere else.

I like the location of the hotel. The service is great and the people are friendly! It had the features a vacation sould have and even more!

The location of this hotel is the best feature of the hotel. On the back of the hotel is a beautiful white sand beach with access to a good snorkelling site. While I was snorkellin there, I saw three sea turtles. It was awesome! The hotel room itself is very clean and updated, unlike many of the hotels in Hawaii that still have 70s look.

I can't say enough about our first time island experience and this fabulous hotel. Everything was top notch! The hotel staff, the food, the views, the room! We spent our 20th anniversary here and they made us feel like newlyweds! I get excited just thinking about this place and that was 6 years ago. Something that wonderful that long ago ...
