We came here to see our son who had just returned from Iraq and decided to make a vacation out of it. This apartment is a perfect getaway. Right in the thick of the action, beautiful views from the SW all the way around to the NE. Large comfortable balcony that we relaxed on every night. We will stay here next time for sure.

Has become my "choice" of places to stay. I have visited Hawaii 28 times...going back for #29 in September (guess I love Hawaii) ...the past three times I have stayed at the Pacific Monarch and it has become a 'home-away-from-home'. Staff is always welcoming, good location, and great value when using wonderful promotional rates!

The location was great, two short blocks from the beach, very friendly and helpful staff. There is a small desk in the lobby with info on event planning. The ocean-view balcony is hardly a balcony. It is only about 12 inches long, to sit on it requires the chair to be about half in, half out of the room. The view was incredible though.
