We have started going to Hawii as a family a few years ago and are starting to go a little more often with some of our married kids. We found that Hilton Hawiian has something for the whole family. The location is a big plus. We can find out way there from anywhere and that's important for people new to Hawaii. The service was great and being ...

Was disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/03/05
The food was extremely expensive and the service was awful. The employees are not friendly or interested in serving you. The Hilton should not charge registered guests to use a lounge chair for the beach.
I was very diappointed in the service and expect more from Hilton.
On a positive note, the bed and pillows were comfortable.
I Love Hawaii Because Its The Best Vaction Spot Ever The Hotels Are Great The Room Service Is Great And The Hotels There Looks Like A Little Town Home You Have A Stove A Kitchen And Its Also Two Stories The One We Stayed In

Paradise in Paradise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/01/05
The Hilton Hawaiian Village is Paradise in Paradise. Offering every amminity one could ever want or need. The staff is very friendly, helpful and bilingual. Rooms are clean and comfortable. If you want to ride on the submarine book it in advance, it tends to be sold out. The atmosphere really captures the spirit of Hawaii. Mahalo.
We liked relaxing at the Tapa lounge while sipping tropical beverages.
Enjoyed the sunrise/sunset as well as Diamond Head and ocean view from our Rainbow Tower room.
Dislike: mail pool chairs were all taken by 9am.

one of the biggiest hotel in waikiki
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
This is the biggest hotel in Waikiki with five towers. It's located on the west side of Waikiki beach. The ocean side rooms have a great view of beach/ocean /Diamond Head crater/sunset.
Pro Location(corner of Waikiki.) On the Beach Great Views (ocean side rooms) Big hotel with everything Activities for kids/adults Great entertainment ...
My friend stayed here while I stayed at the Hyatt on Wakiki strip. These two hotels were not the same. I stayed over one night and I thought the money you paid for a place that was small and not at all what you think a Hilton would look like. She stayed in diamond head section and I hope the other ones were better. Also away from the action of ...

Ho'okipa at Its Finest
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
Sitting on the sands of Waikiki this hotel exudes an Hawaiian sense of hospitality or Ho'okipa. The Friday night fireworks add extra fun to the experience.
