Both times I've been to Maui have been idyllic, and the Maui Kaanapali Villas have kept to the trend. Very clean, housekeeping staff were so sweet, helpful and polite. This was our first trip to the Villas and we loved everything. All of the staff were great from the moment we checked in. The service at the Castaway was unbelievable. It was fun to whale watch while eating breakfast!! And, Patty at the beachside booth was so very nice and helpful. The grounds were perfect and just a nice atmosphere. The only thing I would change would be to add a hot tub. We loved it:)

It didn't have that big luxury resort feel like some of the hotels in Kaanapali. However, the room was large and clean, housekeeping was wonderful, the staff was friendly and helpful, it wasn't crowded, and the location was terrific. We would definitely stay there again.

We read some reviews around the web before arriving, and got nervous, because other guests were complaining. We just returned from 9 days there, and enjoyed it tremendously. A few notes:
