I stayed at this hotel july of 2007. it was great. if your looking for a place to just sleep shower and relax, this is a good choice. the rooms and buildings are clean, the staff was very friendly and makes you feel welcome. now if ur looking for someone to pamper you this is not the place. its in between. I enjoyed my stay. Just make sure you dont get double charged.

The Ocean Five Hotel is not a luxury hotel nor does it claim to be. What makes it a good hotel is its close proximity to the beach, the friendly concierge and extremely courteous and accomodating staff, and the clean and efficient room.

The hotel is a great property. I stayed there during a very busy holiday weekend, the hotels location enabled me and my friends to be close to the action but far enough so that we did not have to deal with the noise. Yes, the room was small, but the staff was very pleasant. Come by Ocean Five, you will not be disapointed.

I loved that this hotel was right by the beach and it also was in the center of all the nightlife in Miami. The hotel was very clean and the service was excellent.

I didn't like that the room was so small that we could hardly walk around. Also, we had to change rooms because while I was taking a shower, the shower door feel in on me and I couldn't get out. However, since the staff was so nice and quick to help, I wasn't too upset. I did like that the beach was across the street (no view) and the prices were very reasonable.

The room was lovely with the wood furniture and marble floors, but it was small. Our first night was very quiet but the second there were many people who were leaving early and we heard a steady stream of slamming doors and voices starting at 5AM.
