This is THE place to go if you want to have FUN! Those who gave bad reviews should have done their homework and read the DESCRIPTION of the place before registering. The place is a blast, right on the water, good music, great drinks, yet monitored so nothing gets too out of whack. My husband and I are in our 50's, my daughter is 24 and we all had a wonderful time. This is NOT retirement heaven!

The room we reserved was not available when we arrived.
We had specifically reserved a tower room to be away from the "active" pool area, and to have a balcony with the "spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico", as promised. We were "compensated" by being given an "upgrade" to a small, dingy, dark, and ...

Horribly loud music - could not sleep. Our room was vibrating from the bass in the nightclub on the ground floor of the hotel until 2:30am! The following night we moved to a different room and the outside lounge played REALLY LOUD music until 12:30am that could be heard loud and clear in our room. We payed an outrageous amount of money for a hotel on the beach and didn't get any sleep. It was HORRIBLE!

This is a great place to hang out with friends.... You can listen to the band outside at the Tiki Bar,,, then go inside and dance at the club... Lots of FUN!

Rooms were adequate, but what the heck - who stays in their room at a party place like this.

Arrived and had a great lunch buffet at a good price. The dinner buffet was a little high, but still very good. Enjoyed the smaller type of beach, which was not crowded. Pros: The location was excellent--right on the beach. The outdoor bar was a lot of fun. There were good bands playing pretty much all afternoon and night. Great Partys at the Tiki Bar, on the deck, in the water, at the wave club. This place is NOT for families. Lots of 20's-30's crowd. Great time.
