Driving down to the keys we did not realize that traffic jam that we would get into. It was 3 pm and we barely had gotten into homestead. We saw the sign for the hotel. When going down to the florida keys we decided to pull in to this hotel. It was an ok price, $67, and it looked pretty clean. The young lady in the front desk was really nice and helpful. The rooms were pretty clean, I can't complain and their continental breakfast is ok. I plan to go back in the summer. It was the most fair place we saw down in homestead.

If this hotel is rated number two I would hate to see #3 etc.
They charge a deposit for the key (that we werent made aware of beforehand), the place is a shambles, open plug ins, missing bulbs in the bathroom, warnings about stealing the towels, one bed was so poor you felt the bottom, sinks that didnt drainsmoke alarm that was falling off the wall. lastly upon returning the key I could not collect my key deposit.
