You don't have much choice in downtown Miami in high season.

This Marriott is an old property and the rooms show it. Although clean, the rooms are relatively small and the bathrooms are tiny. I would rate it as one step up from a Motel 6.

The bar is an unattractive establishment that has extremely overpriced drinks and little atmosphere. Forget the bar food - it is truly awful.

I cannot understand some of the negative reviews I have read about this hotel.
My wife and I stayed for one week following a cruise and connot praise all aspects of the hotel enough.
The rooms were spotless the maid service exellent the staff could not be more helpfull and courteous the facilities were first class and the location superb.
We would be happy to return at any time. Barry and Chris

The staff at Marriott Miami Biscayne Bay were outstanding! They made you feel like royalty! They really cared about taking care of any requests you have. The value I received, the beautiful room and view of the ocean...awesome! I will certainly come back!
