The hotel has been water damaged. This is why you will experience a mildew smell in your room. During our one night stay using Starwood points the management decicded to paint in the halls. We took an afternoon nap only to wake up with a headache from the fumes. The front desk was totally incompotent in addressing our concerns.
They definately have elevators problem. There are only two ones, and one of them is for staff. But staff is using not only their elevator but often for the guests one. So you may wait for elevator for about ten minutes and when it arrives it is full of staff and you have to pass it and for the next time the elevator comes.
Nice restaurant and pool area; excellent waiter (Zoran); comfortable place. I was waiting during six hours to get my four rooms. I received three/four different explanations during that period. Finally, they told me that Starwood Preferred Guests were doing their late check outs and unfortunately there were no rooms available. I am also a SPG....!
I used to trust Starwood, but not now. I chose Sheraton Four Points because I wanted a comfortable room to work in. What I got was no internet access at all in my room. Don't believe them when they tell you they have it, they likely will not. Calling the front counter doesn’t help, they will send a MX man with a wrench to your room to ...
My organization had a conference at this hotel and the service was horrible! The didn't have our audio/visual equipment set up until 3 hours after the convention started. They did not provide us with the pens and paper the second day. The meeting rooms were very blah. It had no character to them. Everytime I went up to the front desk, ...

We found the hotel to be clean and the staff pleasant. It was a fair value for a beach front hotel. Nice, clean pool, plenty of towels. Nice beach area. The only complaint is that you have to pay to rent chairs and umbrellas at the beach- for my family of four it would be $40 just to rent chairs. We think that in a hotel like this, they should ...
For a Four Points this hotel was OK. The rooms were a bit run down and it seemed there wasn't any form of security. Anyone was able to walk in and use the pool. I went of the 4th of July and there were kids without parental supervision in the pool for hours, families brought their grills, coolers and alcohol to the premises, and people were ...
On arrival our two rooms were ready and we had been upgraded to deluxe suite. Our suite had two rooms, one a lovely sized bedroom with en-suite attached. The other was a large lounge room with TV, couch, coffee table, mini bar, and walk in dressing room with safe. There was also a small kitchenette with tea and coffee facilities.
What I disliked most was the parking. Valet only and the parking garage was 8 blocks away.
The A/C didn't work in the entire hotel and the room itself left MUCH to be desired. The chain was broken as if someone had kicked the door in. Tacky decor. Slow elevators. But a good location.
