I just happened to stumble upon this little slice of heaven in ft. lauderdale. ive been around to different bars all over because i travel work. the bahia cabana is overall my favced eorite. it was a monday night and it seemed like a saturday night! My bartenders Julie and Lisa made me feel so at home. they introduced me to everybody at the bar,who apparently are all regulars, mostly from out of state!

this was the most disgusting, filthy and depressing getaway i have ever wasted my money on.

exposed wires, garbage everywhere and the biggest hint was the tar removal packets in the soap dish. the packets are for the bottom of your feet after you walk on the carpeting in the room.
restaurant was great. filthy but great.

If your looking for something to do at the hotel this seems like the place to be. Buddy was sick in the room and I had a wonderful time at the bar by myself meeting tons of people from all over. Many locals as well. The food and drink servers were great! If your looking for entertainment every night, you found it here.

We had to keep our tv on all night because the band below our room (at the restaurant/bar) played well into the evening - Sunday night. I wasn't up for an all night bar scene and would have preferred a room away from the night life. The rooms were old and smelled sort of musty. I would try another place
