Lovely large room. The bathroom actually had a window. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. The surrounding area has restaurants and shops - wish I had more time to explore. Ordered a sandwich from the bar and I was pleasantly suprised - it was very good.

the lobby was trashed. floors were not cleaned. stained room.stairwell had standing waterand chipped paint on the walls.exits wasn't safe.the pool area was okay. the food was okay.
They charged you an extreme amount of money to be able to park your car on the premises!! If you are staying at a hotel your parking should be included!! Other than that it was a great place to stay. Close to thhe Metro & a short walk to the Zoo
This was our last stop on a coach tour and was the best hotel on the tour. Location was fine (Short walk from subway station)rooms excellent .. Two Queen sized beds, bathroom spotless, restaurant and service great. Can't find anything to fault. If we ever go to Washington again this will be the first hotel we will enquire about.

I loved the hotel. The staff is excellent and it is a beautiful hotel. I just loved the lobby and the East wing. BEAUTIFUL! The dining was excellent. It is a very beautiful place to have a hotel right in the heart of DC. The rooms are beautiful and the service was great.

I found rooms on Travelzoo special for $99 and night, bought 4 nights in 2 rooms. Unreal deal! They then honored my Omni upgrade and gave me mini suite! I was one happy camper. One night it rained and we ordered room service (Son, Dad, and I) and we felt like royalty, food pricey but great! They rolled a table into room, was big fun! They do need ...
We stayed on a Monday night, one of the hottest days of 2006 over 100 degrees. The bellhops, valet and front desk were extremely nice. Got to the room however and the air conditioner was broken, we called the front desk and said they would send someone right up, after 10 minutes I called and requested a different room, which they gave us ...
The classic room is VERY spacious with a balcony. I have three kids, so I am leary of balconies. However, the Shoreham has very high railings and I felt safe with the door open.
Great pool and wonderful gardens, you actually feel that your way outside of town even though you are three stops from the mall.
Great food at the restaurant.

Will stay again!

Considering the delays and not being able to rent our car when we arrived at 2:00 am, they kept our room waiting for us. Very curtious and the conceirge was very helpful for our first trip to DC. We had a tight schedule and didn't really need a rental car. We took the subway downtown to DC. Which is right around the corner. The rooms were very ...
